Missile fired from Yemen downed over Israel
Stockholm, September 27 (Hibya) - A missile sent from Yemen was downed over Israel on Thursday evening, the Israeli army (IDF) announced on X.
Sirens sounded in central Israel early yesterday evening, and according to the army, millions of Israelis took shelter in the area.
The IDF wrote that the missile was downed by the country's air defence system.
The Houthi movement in Yemen has previously sent missiles and drones to Israel, announcing that they were attacking Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
