Mixed performance across European markets as FTSE and FTSE MIB advance
Istanbul, July 28 (Hibya) - European stock markets ended the first trading session of the week with mixed performance. UK and Italian markets posted gains, while Germany, France and the pan-European STOXX 600 index finished the day little changed.

London's FTSE 100 index rose 0.42 percent to 10,781.75 points. In Italy, the FTSE MIB index closed 0.49 percent higher at 52,054.95 points.
In contrast, the STOXX Europe 600 index, which tracks the performance of companies across Europe, along with Germany's DAX and France's CAC 40 indices, ended the day close to their previous closing levels with a flat performance.
Investors continued to closely monitor global economic developments, corporate earnings and expectations regarding central banks' monetary policies, while a cautious tone prevailed across European equity markets.
