Indices in Asia-Pacific stock markets are trading mixed. The S&P/ASX 200 index fell 92 points to 9,096.50 points, losing 1 percent. The index reached an intraday high of 9,188.50 points and a low of 9,091.20 points.

The Nikkei 225 index rose 253.41 points to 68,562 points. The index gained 0.37 percent, trading between 68,547 and 69,639 points during the day.

The Hang Seng index fell 269.51 points to 25,127 points, losing 1.06 percent. The index recorded an intraday high of 25,312.50 points and a low of 25,123 points.

The Nifty 50 index fell 52.45 points to 24,343.40 points, losing 0.21 percent. The index traded between 24,304.30 and 24,365 points during the day.

The FTSE China 50 index declined 180.58 points to 15,820.29 points, recording a loss of 1.13 percent. The index reached an intraday high of 15,923.80 points and a low of 15,807.20 points.

The IDX Composite index rose 35.43 points to 6,337.19 points, gaining 0.56 percent. The KLCI index, meanwhile, fell 4.38 points to 1,730.33 points, losing 0.25 percent.

The KOSPI index rose 131.44 points to 6,944.78 points, gaining 1.93 percent. The index traded between 6,848.43 and 7,010.86 points during the day.

The SET index rose 7.56 points to 1,621.92 points, gaining 0.47 percent. The index reached an intraday high of 1,622.65 points and a low of 1,614.68 points.
