Mixed performance in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, June 10 (Hibya) - Asia-Pacific markets showed a mixed performance during the trading day.
Asia-Pacific markets showed a mixed performance during the trading day. While some regional indices posted gains, others continued the session in negative territory.
Australia’s benchmark ASX 200 index rose 0.13 percent to 8,615.80 points. In India, the Nifty 50 index also gained 0.58 percent, reaching 23,376.30 points.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei index fell 1.97 percent to 64,129.31 points, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index (HSI) traded 1.1 percent lower at 24,292.95 points.
Chinese markets also displayed a negative trend. The Shanghai Index declined 0.58 percent to 3,986.66 points.
