Mixed performance in commodity markets
Istanbul, June 30 (Hibya) - Commodity markets showed mixed performance as gold, silver and oil prices declined, while copper, wheat and soybeans posted gains.
Trading in commodity markets continued with diverging trends across different products.
Among precious metals, spot gold fell 1.02% to $3,997.65 per ounce, while silver declined 1.26% to 57.893.
In energy markets, WTI crude oil traded 0.75% lower at $70.22 per barrel, while Brent crude fell 0.55% to $73.50. RBOB gasoline futures declined 0.68%, heating oil fell 0.27%, while natural gas remained flat at 3.170.
Among industrial metals, copper rose 2.23% to 6.1875, making it one of the best-performing commodities.
In agricultural commodities, U.S. soybeans gained 0.31%, while U.S. wheat advanced 0.85%.
