Trading in commodity markets showed a mixed performance.

The price of gold rose 0.27 percent to $4,317.00 per ounce, while natural gas gained 0.10 percent to trade at $2.673.

In contrast, silver fell 0.13 percent to $62.205, WTI crude oil declined 0.56 percent to $74.80, and Brent crude dropped 0.52 percent to $79.04.

Copper prices fell 0.48 percent to $6.7160, heating oil declined 0.90 percent to $3.7460, and RBOB gasoline futures lost 0.93 percent to $2.8123.

In agricultural commodities, U.S. soybean futures fell 0.16 percent to 1,174.88 cents, while U.S. wheat futures declined 0.25 percent to 642.40 cents.
