Mixed performance in US stock markets
Istanbul, September 8 (Hibya) – In US markets, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones declined, while the Nasdaq 100 rose. Within the S&P 500, 164 stocks gained, while 322 stocks lost value.
US indices showed a mixed performance during the trading session. The S&P 500 fell 0.38 percent to 7,718.60 points, while the Dow Jones declined 0.51 percent to 53,414.25 points.
The Nasdaq 100, meanwhile, rose 0.21 percent to 29,544.16 points.
Within the S&P 500, 164 stocks gained while 322 declined. In the Dow Jones, 10 stocks rose while 20 fell. In the Nasdaq 100, 44 stocks advanced while 58 lost value.
