Mixed trading in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, September 7 (Hibya) - Asian stock markets are showing a mixed trend in intraday trading. While Japan’s Nikkei 225 and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 are rising, markets in India, Hong Kong and China are declining.
A mixed picture emerged in Asian stock markets during intraday trading.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose 1.82 percent to 66,205.49 points. In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index also increased 0.03 percent to 9,008.30 points.
In India, the NIFTY 50 index fell 0.27 percent to 23,833.55 points. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index dropped 0.97 percent to 25,402.73 points, while China’s Shanghai Composite index declined 0.24 percent to 3,920.702 points.
Thus, stock markets in Japan and Australia posted gains, while markets in India, Hong Kong and China recorded declines.
