Montenegrin President Milatovic awards US Senator Shaheen the Order of the Montenegrin Flag
Cetinje, October 10 (Hibya) - Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic hosted a US delegation in Cetinje and presented Senator Jeanne Shaheen with the Order of the Montenegrin Flag, First Class, for her long-standing support for Montenegro’s NATO membership and European path.
Montenegrin President Milatovic hosted in Cetinje a delegation led by US Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Dick Durbin.
In a post on social media, Milatovic said that during the meeting he presented Senator Shaheen with the Order of the Montenegrin Flag, First Class.
Milatovic said the decoration was awarded to thank Shaheen for her long-standing support for Montenegro, the country’s NATO membership and its European path, adding that the meetings in Washington and Cetinje demonstrated the shared determination to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Milatovic noted Shaheen’s special contribution to relations of trust, partnership and alliance between the two countries.
