Brussels, May 21 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte welcomed Czech President Petr Pavel at NATO Headquarters.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte welcomed Czech President Petr Pavel at NATO Headquarters. The meeting focused on the upcoming NATO Summit, strengthening deterrence and defense capabilities, and the importance of increasing defense spending and production.
Rutte stated: “I was pleased to welcome President Pavel to NATO Headquarters. We discussed key topics regarding the upcoming NATO Summit, strengthening deterrence and defense, and increasing defense investments.”
He welcomed the Czech Republic’s commitment to allocate 3% of its GDP to defense in the coming years, noting that this determination contributes to the alliance’s collective security.
