Netanyahu emphasized that, contrary to claims, the Qatari grant was directed to officials, needy families, and targeted needs such as electricity payments for Gaza, and there was no information provided about the use of these funds for terrorist purposes.

“Contrary to claims, the intelligence assessment indicated that, in the event of a ground raid by the Palestinian Islamic Movement, there would be at most dozens of agents in various locations; the real threat was an underground tunnel raid, which was completely prevented upon the insistence of the Prime Minister. No attempt to rewrite history will change the facts.”
