Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the farewell ceremony for outgoing Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea.

Referring to Barnea’s leadership and developments in the region, Netanyahu said: “Yesterday we said farewell to outgoing Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea. The price Iran has paid has been very heavy. The foundations of this terrorist regime in Iran have been shaken. It will never be the same, and I tell you - in the end it will fall.”

Netanyahu concluded his remarks with appreciation for the former Mossad chief: “On behalf of myself and the entire people, I came to thank Dedi. Thank you for 30 years of dedicated service in the Mossad, and especially for the remarkable achievements and gains in recent years for Israel’s security.”
