Netanyahu: We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones
Jerusalem, 2 June (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Medical Officer Captain Dr. Ori Yosef Silvester of the Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion was killed in clashes in southern Lebanon, and expressed condolences to his family and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded soldiers.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a message of condolence and support following the death of a military officer in clashes in southern Lebanon.
Netanyahu expressed deep sorrow over Captain Silvester’s death, saying: "We learned of the death of Medical Officer Captain Dr. Ori Yosef Silvester, of the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade, who fell in combat in southern Lebanon."
Highlighting the soldier’s sense of duty, he said: "The late Ori went to the front lines out of a deep sense of duty to defend the State of Israel, save lives, and treat his comrades in arms."
Netanyahu concluded: "My wife and I, together with all citizens of Israel, extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, and pray for the swift recovery of our wounded in this painful incident. May his memory be blessed."
