Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said during the government meeting in Dimona that he had sent a letter to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on August 17, warning that the policies of the Australian government encourage antisemitism in the country.

Referring also to attacks that occurred in the United States, Netanyahu said, “We convey our condolences to the American people.”

Assessing Israel’s security policy, Netanyahu said, “We will take action against those who target Israelis, those who target our soldiers, and those who try to kill or injure them.” He emphasized that this approach is Israel’s fundamental policy, referring to recent developments in Gaza.

Netanyahu added, “Those who do this will spend the rest of their lives knowing that Israel will find them and neutralize them.”

Continuing his remarks, Netanyahu said, “This is the policy of the United States, this is the policy of Israel. It is the policy we apply in Gaza, in Lebanon, and everywhere around us. We will not sit back and watch these attacks.”
