Pakistan Foreign Minister Dar meets Antigua and Barbuda Foreign Minister Greene
New York, September 25 (Hibya)-Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Antigua and Barbuda's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs E.P. Chet Greene in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to a statement from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Dar met with Antigua and Barbuda's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs Greene in New York.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, bilateral relations were discussed and a shared commitment was expressed to further strengthen ties between the two countries.
The sides reportedly exchanged views on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, particularly education, diplomatic training and fields of mutual interest.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for cooperation on multilateral platforms, particularly the Commonwealth and the United Nations.
The sides reportedly agreed to meet again at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting to be held in November 2026 in St. John's, the capital of Antigua and Barbuda.
