Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that it strongly condemned the ballistic missile attacks carried out by the Houthis against the Saudi Arabian cities of Taif and Yanbu.

The statement said the attacks constituted a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and international law. The ministry firmly rejected attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure and called for an immediate end to such actions.

The statement said Qatar stood in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supported the legitimate measures taken by the country to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and interests.

The statement also said that Saudi Arabia's security is closely linked to Qatar's security and the collective security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
