According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Minister Farsin Aghabekian Shaheen received Marjan Sensen, the Acting Representative of the Republic of Slovenia to the State of Palestine.

The ministry’s statement about the meeting said: “Minister Shaheen expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Slovenian government’s supportive stance towards Palestine, and praised the President’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, in which he called on the international community to act urgently to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.”

Shaheen also appreciated the Slovenian government’s decision yesterday to provide the Palestinian government with €1.2 million in direct financial aid under the emergency aid program resulting from the International Conference on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
