Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to take action against violations
Ramallah, February 18 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has called on the international community to take practical steps to force the occupiers to stop settlements and violations in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the escalation of violations and crimes committed by settler militias against Palestinian citizens, their lands, and properties in the West Bank, including Beitlu northwest of Ramallah, the village of Susya south of Hebron, villages south of Nablus, northern Jordan Valley, and all areas classified as "C".
The ministry stated that the international community's failure to implement United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue, especially Resolution 2334, has become a cover used by the Israeli government to expand settlements, seize more land, and establish control over them. This weakens the representation of the Palestinian state on the ground and replaces peaceful political solutions with an endless cycle of violence that serves the interests of the Israeli right and strengthens settler dominance.
The ministry called for urgent international and American intervention to halt the colonial, expansionist, and settler projects of the occupation and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, enabling them to exercise their right to self-determination in their homeland without occupation and settlements.
