Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomes Albanese's stance
Ramallah, August 5 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the call made by the Australian Prime Minister to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and its content.
In a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said it welcomed the phone call made by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to President Mahmoud Abbas and the content of the conversation.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the phone call made by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, and the positions expressed in the call, particularly Australia's support for our people suffering in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, its support for the two-state solution, and the aspirations of the Palestinian people for an independent state."
