Pavel: CZERT is a team the Czech Republic can be proud of
Prague, April 7 (Hibya) - Czech President Petr Pavel highlighted the CZERT medical rescue team’s capacity to respond to emergencies, stating that the team’s professionalism and international assistance are a great source of pride for the country.
Czech President Petr Pavel made remarks about the working principles of the CZERT team and its past achievements.
Emphasizing the team’s operational strength, Pavel said: "The CZERT medical rescue team is ready to respond to natural disasters and other emergencies worldwide within 72 hours".
Pavel added: "The team can quickly establish a mobile emergency service on-site by bringing together doctors, paramedics, and firefighters".
Referring to the team’s field experience and international contributions, President Pavel concluded: "The support they have provided so far, for example during the earthquake in Nepal, shows that they are truly a team the Czech Republic can be proud of".
