Positive trend stands out in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, September 30 (Hibya) - Major indices in Asia-Pacific markets generally traded higher, led by gains in Japan's Nikkei 225 index.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 rose 2.15 percent to 66,889.00 points, while Australia's S&P/ASX 200 increased 1.05 percent to 8,800.50 points and Malaysia's KLCI gained 0.63 percent to 1,654.37 points. Indonesia's IDX Composite rose 0.15 percent to 6,131.07 points, India's Nifty 50 increased 0.10 percent to 22,739.75 points, and China's FTSE China 50 gained 0.08 percent to 15,497.79 points.
In contrast, Thailand's SET index fell 1.70 percent to 1,567.26 points, Hong Kong's Hang Seng declined 0.20 percent to 24,474.00 points, and South Korea's KOSPI slipped 0.01 percent to 6,870.22 points. Sri Lanka's CSE All-Share index was flat.
