President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with President of the United States Donald Trump.
President Erdoğan held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump. During the call, the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey is closely monitoring the tension between Iran and Israel and considers the initiated nuclear negotiations as the only way to resolve the dispute.
In this context, Erdoğan expressed that Turkey supports the US view that the nuclear talks must continue to resolve the disagreement.
President Erdoğan also stated that Turkey is ready to do its utmost to prevent an uncontrolled escalation of tensions.
