Putin spoke with Tajik President Rahmon
Moscow, August 18 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon regarding the outcomes of the Russia-U.S. summit.
Russian President Putin called President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and shared his assessment of the results of the Russia-U.S. summit held in Anchorage.
Rahmon welcomed the steps taken towards a political and diplomatic resolution of the Ukraine crisis.
Current issues were discussed, including the development of Russia-Tajikistan relations and Putin’s upcoming official visit to Tajikistan, as well as preparations for the Central Asia–Russia summit and the CIS Heads of State Council meeting. All these events will take place in October in Dushanbe.
