Qatar participates in the 166th regular meeting of the Arab League Council
Cairo, September 7 (Hibya) - Qatar participated in the 166th regular meeting of the Arab League Council, held at the ministerial level in Cairo.
The State of Qatar participated in the 166th regular meeting of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level. Qatar's delegation at the meeting, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, was headed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the latest developments in the region were assessed during the meeting. The discussions focused in particular on Iran's escalation and attacks targeting various Arab countries, as well as Israel's ongoing aggression and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Syria.
Issues related to Arab national security were also included on the agenda of the meeting.
