Qatari Foreign Minister Al Thani and Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty hold phone call
Doha, July 10 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during a phone call.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a phone conversation with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdelatty.
According to the ministry, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Egypt and steps to further strengthen it. They also discussed the latest regional developments, diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation, and coordination to enhance security and stability.
The statement said Al Thani stressed the importance of all parties remaining committed to dialogue and diplomacy, calling for the implementation of the agreed provisions under the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran, ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, preserving regional security, and strengthening stability.
