Rubio: We thank our friends in Germany for the Ebola outbreak assistance
Washington, May 20 (Hibya) - United States (US) Secretary of State Marco Rubio thanked German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the German government for their rapid support provided to Americans affected by the Ebola outbreak.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio made a statement regarding the support provided by Germany in combating the outbreak and transatlantic cooperation.
Highlighting Germany’s solidarity, Rubio said, “We thank Chancellor Merz and our friends in Germany for their rapid assistance to Americans affected by the Ebola outbreak.”
Expressing the value of the strategic ties between the two countries, Secretary Rubio concluded his statement by saying, “We are grateful for your partnership.”
