During the meeting, Nikishina informed President Putin about the development of Russia's non-resource, non-energy exports and the contribution of state export promotion institutions in helping domestic companies realize their export potential.

She stated that they developed a range of tools for every stage of the exporter’s lifecycle – from the idea of starting exports to the actual process and even post-sales service – and added:

“I must emphasize the significant role our regions play in achieving the national goals of the Russian Federation – goals that are ambitious but achievable. We have built highly professional regional teams in almost every region, regardless of export capacity, and we operate effectively.”
