Rutte: NATO stands with Ukraine
Kyiv, June 3 (Hibya) - NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that a NATO–Ukraine Council meeting was held for the first time in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that strategic cooperation between NATO and Ukraine has been strengthened.
It was noted that the meeting held in Kyiv reinforced the strategic partnership between NATO and Ukraine and demonstrated the Alliance’s continued support for Kyiv. Rutte also held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The statement said: “Today, NATO stands with Ukraine and will continue to stand by you through all the challenges ahead.”
During the visit, it was emphasized that NATO’s solidarity with Ukraine will continue.
