Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev.

Commenting on the meeting, Saidov said, "We are pleased to see the friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan reaching a new level."

Saidov noted that special emphasis was placed on the effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, adding, "We reaffirmed our readiness to further strengthen practical cooperation within the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Turkic States, the Non-Aligned Movement, and other multilateral platforms."

Saidov also stated that they reviewed the schedule of upcoming visits and joint events to be held at various levels.
