Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that Spain stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela, the families searching for their loved ones, and Spanish citizens affected by the disaster, adding that the country's civil protection system has been deployed to assist with emergency response and reconstruction efforts.

Expressing his solidarity and sympathy, Sanchez said: “I would like to once again express my solidarity with the people of Venezuela, as well as my deepest sympathy for the families who continue searching for their loved ones and for the Spanish citizens affected by this disaster.”

Highlighting Spain’s support mechanism, Sanchez added: “Our civil protection system has already been deployed to assist with emergency response and reconstruction efforts.”
