Sandu: Privoz Market turned into ruins, mourning with Ukraine
Chisinau, July 24 (Hibya) – Moldovan President Maia Sandu described the Russian attack on Privoz Market in Odessa as “another barbaric terrorist act targeting civilians.”
Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced that Privoz Market in Odessa, one of the city’s landmarks, was turned into ruins due to the Russian attack.
Sandu noted that Moldovans are very familiar with the “sounds, smells, and spirit” of the market.
Emphasizing solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Sandu said, “We mourn with Ukraine and condemn another barbaric terrorist act targeting civilians.”
