Seven bus passengers shot dead in Pakistan
Stockholm, February 20 (Hibya) - In Balochistan, Pakistan, militants checked the passports of all bus passengers, selected seven non-locals, and killed them.
According to security and administrative officials, seven passengers were shot dead yesterday morning while on a bus along a highway in southwestern Balochistan, Pakistan. Armed individuals punctured the bus tires, entered inside, and demanded to see everyone's passports. Then, passengers from Punjab province were taken off the bus, lined up, and executed.
Barkhan Deputy Commissioner (DC) Waqar Khurshid Alam stated that "the attackers, after checking identity cards, removed seven passengers from the bus and killed them."
Alam added: "All seven people traveling in the bus were from Punjab and were headed to Faisalabad."
He also stated that security forces cordoned off the area after the incident. The bodies of the victims were then transferred to the district's central hospital.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
