Sirens sounded over Israel on Friday evening
Stockholm, October 12 (Hibya) - Aircraft alarms sounded in several areas of central Israel on Friday evening as a result of "enemy air infiltration," the Israeli military reported.
The IDF said a building in Herzliya was hit after a drone strike from Lebanon, with no injuries.
The Israel Defense Forces said a building in central Herzliya was hit after two drones were fired from Lebanon. There was no immediate word on injuries.
The military said the drones were tracked from the moment they crossed the border and that fighter jets managed to shoot down one of them.
It was not immediately clear why the second drone was not intercepted.
The IDF did not say whether the building was hit by the drone or by shrapnel from the interceptors but said the incident was under investigation.
