Madrid, October 2 (Hibya) - Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez met with the president and CEO of Imec, Luc Van den Hove.

Sanchez thanked Hove for his commitment to research and development in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics in Spain, saying:
"The new large research center of IMEC in Malaga is an example of public-private partnership that will develop our semiconductor ecosystem and create quality jobs, leveraging the strengths of the Spanish scientific system. We are ready to lead in industrial and technological progress."
