Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic shared his views on the European Union vision that Montenegro shares with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

Spajic stated that Europe should be “one team” and expressed satisfaction with the progress Montenegro has made in its EU integration process. He noted that strong signals of support from the Netherlands have increased confidence in Montenegro’s reform efforts on its path toward Europe.

Emphasizing that the rule of law and fundamental reforms are of critical importance in the EU accession process, Spajic said that the positive approach shown by countries such as the Netherlands is an indication that Montenegro is on the right track.

Spajic also pointed out that progress toward the EU has increased Montenegro’s attractiveness to investors, adding that the growing interest of Dutch companies in the country is encouraging.
