Starliner astronauts' return delayed again
Houston, March 13 (Hibya) - NASA and SpaceX have postponed the launch of a rocket intended to return the Starliner spacecraft to Earth after a nine-month mission on the International Space Station.
The return of two astronauts who have been waiting on the International Space Station for nine months has been delayed once again. Following a spacewalk expected to last just over a week, the two astronauts have been waiting for their return since last summer.
To bring Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams back to Earth, a SpaceX rocket carrying a four-person crew was planned to launch toward the International Space Station. It was even expected that they would return home on Sunday.
However, about an hour before the planned launch, NASA and SpaceX announced that the launch would be postponed. A malfunction was reported in the clamp holding the rocket before launch.
NASA announced that they are now aiming to launch the rocket on Friday.
