Starmer: No one in need of dental care should have to wait in line
London, February 21 (Hibya) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that no one in need of dental care should be left in pain or have to wait in line for blocks just for an examination.
UK Health Secretary Stephen Kinnock announced that with the launch of 700,000 additional emergency appointments, the government and the National Health Service (NHS) will ensure that hundreds of thousands of people across the country have access to urgent dental care services.
Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that no one should suffer or wait for long periods just to receive treatment.
He added that the government has included this issue in its manifesto and will provide more emergency appointments in the NHS. "And that’s exactly what we are doing," he said.
