Storm warning in Paris
Paris, July 30 (Hibya)—The French Meteorological Agency has issued a storm warning for Paris. Heavy rain and thunder and lightning are expected from six o'clock tonight. The warning is in effect until midnight.
A heatwave is sweeping France and temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius are expected in Paris today as the Olympic Games are in full swing. It is not known what impact the storm will have on tonight's race.
Continued rain does not bode well for the triathlon competition at the Games, which was due to start today on the Seine but was postponed due to pollution.
