Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares stated that his country prioritizes supporting sexual and reproductive health and promoting gender equality in its foreign policy.

Albares announced that he signed the Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Natalia Kanem, Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The agreement is intended to further advance cooperation aimed at strengthening sexual and reproductive health services and supporting the rights of women and girls.

The Spanish minister reaffirmed his commitment to continuing global efforts in the fields of gender equality and health within the framework of this partnership.
