Svyrydenko: Russia Targets Civilians and Culture
Kyiv, July 24 – (Hibya) Overnight, Russia launched widespread drone attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Odesa, Cherkasy, and Kherson. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated regarding the attacks, "Russia is not only killing civilians but is also deliberately trying to destroy our culture."
According to reports, Russia targeted the cities of Odesa, Cherkasy, and Kherson with drone attacks throughout the night.
In Odesa, some buildings listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites were severely damaged, 33 people were evacuated, and 5 were rescued from the rubble.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that during the attacks in Cherkasy, 7 civilians, including one child, were injured.
Svyrydenko said, "Russia continues its attacks feeling untouchable. The longer the hesitation, the higher the cost. We must act strongly and united."
