Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis meets with Romanian counterpart Hurzeanu
Davos, February 20 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis held a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurzeanu.
Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis stated that they had a productive meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurzeanu to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Cassis noted that the discussions addressed Switzerland’s contribution, Switzerland-EU relations, EU expansion, and Romania’s accession to the Schengen area.
He added: "We also discussed support for Ukraine and the situation in Moldova, exchanges with the U.S. under the new administration, and our work within the UN, OSCE, and OECD, including regional security."
