Sybiha: Delisting Usmanov and Fridman is shameful
Kyiv, September 22 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reacted to the removal of Usmanov and Fridman from the sanctions list and called on EU member states to impose national sanctions on the two individuals.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the removal of Usmanov and Fridman from the sanctions list.
Criticizing the decision, Sybiha said: "The delisting of Usmanov and Fridman is shameful and unjustifiable."
Sybiha argued that Moscow celebrated the decision, saying: "Moscow got what it wanted: a sense of impunity, the humiliation of the EU, and division among Europeans."
Following the decision, Sybiha called on EU countries to act, saying: "There is still a way to spoil the celebrations in Moscow. I call on all EU member states to announce now that they will impose their own national sanctions on these two individuals."
