During his meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha addressed issues of strategic cooperation and defense.

Highlighting the G7 presidency and international support processes, Sybiha said: “I congratulated France on taking over the G7 presidency.”

Sybiha noted that they discussed the key role played by the G7 in mobilizing international support for Ukraine.

Commenting on the latest situation at the front and France’s leadership, Sybiha said: “I briefed my counterpart on the situation on the front and the devastating impact of Russia’s terror against civilians. I thanked France for its leadership in strengthening our defense and advancing efforts toward a just and lasting peace.”
