Sybiha: Russia's terror knows no borders
Kyiv, July 24 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha commented on Russia's attacks on Kyiv and Sloviansk, condemning the strikes against civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned Russia's attacks, stating that at least six people were killed and dozens injured in a missile strike on the Kyiv region, while at least five civilians were killed and nine others injured in guided aerial bomb attacks on Sloviansk.
Noting that homes, civilian infrastructure, and a consular building were also damaged, Sybiha said: "This is not random violence. It is a deliberate strategy. Russia systematically attacks civilians to spread fear, break resistance, and force the world to accept aggression as the new normal."
Drawing attention to Moscow's actions at sea, Sybiha added: "At the same time, Moscow is intensifying its attacks in the Black Sea, threatening freedom of navigation, disrupting global trade, and attempting to hold global food security hostage."
Emphasizing the broader regional dimension of the attacks, Sybiha concluded: "This is the same campaign of terror carried out with different weapons. The world must understand that the Kremlin's war extends far beyond Ukraine's borders."
