Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, considered the news of the ceasefire in Lebanon to be a positive development at the conclusion of the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
Tajani expressed pride in their decisive contribution to this important outcome for peace in the Middle East, adding, "I am honored to have chaired four G7 meetings. Italy is once again at the forefront of international politics and is fully appreciated by its allies. We will continue working to strengthen global stability."
