Tajani: We want to contribute to the implementation of the new Migration and Asylum Pact
Rome, February 18 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani stated that they want to contribute to the implementation of the new Migration and Asylum Pact through innovative solutions.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani announced that together with the EU Commissioner for Migration, Magnus Brunner, they emphasized the importance of combating migrant smuggling and border management as political priorities.
Tajani noted that new partnerships with the source and transit countries of migration flows, especially in Africa, must be established, adding: "The Italian government wants to contribute to the implementation of the new Migration and Asylum Pact through innovative solutions."
