Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Nasreddin met with Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi
Tehran, February 5 (Hibya) - The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ismatullah Nasreddin, met with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance and sensitivity of developments in the region, stressing the necessity of maintaining close and ongoing consultations between the two parties.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan described the course of bilateral relations and cooperation as extremely positive and expanding. He reaffirmed Tajikistan’s leadership commitment to further strengthening and deepening ties in all areas of mutual interest.
Nasreddin also welcomed the recent removal of visa requirements for air travel between the two countries, noting that increased travel by tourists and businesspeople would further enhance economic, trade, and tourism cooperation.
