Azerbaijani President Aliyev met with WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus
Baku, March 13 (Hibya) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus congratulated President Ilham Aliyev for the successful organization of COP29 in Azerbaijan and praised the results achieved at the conference.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus thanked Azerbaijan for its support of the World Health Organization and its voluntary financial contributions. He also highlighted the importance of joint projects between Azerbaijan and various countries.
The meeting also discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Health Organization, as well as future activities of United Nations structures.
