Pavel: The presence of our soldiers in Rukla is not only symbolic
Prague, March 13 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel said that the presence of his country’s soldiers at the NATO base in Rukla, Lithuania, is not merely symbolic.
President Pavel stated that the soldiers there play a deterrent role against potential Russian or Belarusian aggression.
Pavel emphasized that the soldiers have the necessary training and equipment and can immediately take action if needed. President Pavel also said that he met with the soldiers and appreciates their dedication to their duties.
