Technology stocks led U.S. markets as Sandisk declined
Istanbul, July 28 (Hibya) - Technology stocks stood out with strong gains during the U.S. trading session, while several companies came under selling pressure. Nvidia and Intel ranked among the most actively traded stocks.

Within the S&P 500 index, Workday posted the biggest gain of the day, rising 9.01 percent. Autodesk advanced 7.70 percent, Expedia Group gained 7.09 percent, Palantir Technologies rose 7.01 percent, and ServiceNow added 6.86 percent.
Among the biggest decliners, Sandisk topped the list with a loss of 11.02 percent. Lumentum Holdings fell 6.69 percent, CH Robinson Worldwide declined 6.46 percent, Texas Pacific Land dropped 5.44 percent, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) lost 5.17 percent.
By trading volume, Gossamer Bio (GOSS) was the most actively traded stock of the day with approximately 348.4 million shares. It was followed by Nvidia (NVDA) with about 154.2 million shares, Intel (INTC) with 133 million, ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO) with 130.2 million, and Nokia (NOK) with around 97.1 million shares.
Among stocks with unusual trading volume, GXO Logistics Preferred Trust (GXPT), Capricor Therapeutics (CAPR), Luxfer Holdings (LXFR), Gossamer Bio (GOSS), and MPLT stood out. Gossamer Bio, in particular, attracted investors' attention with a 46.62 percent gain and trading volume approximately 15.9 times its 10-day average.
